Loreto Senior Primary School is part of a cluster of six primary schools in South Dublin to experience the Creativity in the Classroom project. Is an innovative visual arts project that has been running in our school for the past 2o years and is the longest standing project of its kind in the country. Creativity in the Classroom (CIC) uses visual art as a means of helping our pupils develop their sense of self. Our pupils have the opportunity of working with our amazing artist, Liz McMahon, for an eight-week period every other year. Liz and the class teacher work together to provide our pupils with the opportunity to explore their creative energy and to experience lots of exciting art processes. It also provides our pupils with a safe environment to explore their emotions. At the end of the eight-week period each class host a parent/guardian workshop so we can do some art together and exhibit our work!
