Dear Parents and Guardians,
We would like to welcome you and your child to our school. We have a wonderfully dedicated staff and we endeavour to provide a safe and happy learning environment for everyone.
Loreto Senior Primary School is a Catholic primary school under the patronage of the Catholic Archbishop of Dublin. We are an inclusive school community and we welcome pupils of different nationalities, religions, and cultures. Parents and Guardians are always welcome and there will be many opportunities for you to become involved in school life.
Our school celebrates our Loreto ethos and tradition. As a Loreto school, we believe that the Holy Family is our model and inspiration. Our shared purpose comes from Mary Ward, the foundress of the Loreto Order, and it is a call to ‘do good and do it well’. Our policies, practices, and attitudes are rooted in Gospel values and inspired by the Loreto philosophy of education.
Our school community believes that:
- We are all loved and gifted by God
- Love and learning transform us
- Every day is a learning day
- With love and care, we grow
- Success looks like our best effort
Our hope is that your child will grow and achieve their full potential at our school. Mary Ward wanted her pupils to experience an education that would liberate, empower and motivate them. Her values of joy, truth, sincerity, justice, and freedom are lived out in our school community today. We also believe that our school is a place where all are called to grow in kindness, love, perseverance, and gratitude.
We look forward to working with you over the coming years.
